The Diamond Valley Arts Council (DVAC) invites your participation in our Tattoo Art Festival scheduled for Saturday August 16, 2014 in San Jacinto, California. Submit, by email, a jpeg image of your tattoo artwork with a brief description of your artistic concept and technique.  Wherever you are in the world, we welcome your art. This event celebrates the work of artists whose medium is ink and skin.

Your tattoo image and description will appear on our Artist website gallery for one year and will be displayed at the Festival or, subsequently, in our Esplanade Arts Center gallery. Your image will also be an entry in our juried competition. The awards categories are: (1) best in show, (2) best design, (3) best use of color, (4) best technique, (5) best traditional and(6) best modern . DVAC will award trophies in each category. Winners will be announced on the DVAC website the day following the event. All participants will receive an Artist Certificate of Honor.

An entry fee of $7.00 for each entry is due at time of submission. The fee is paid through Purple Pass, available on the DVAC website, www.thedvac.org. Please include your Purple Pass receipt number with your email entry. No entries are accepted without payment. The fee covers the cost of awards and photographic printing of entries for display at the festival and afterward.

DVAC is a non-profit foundation that supports the arts. All entries become the property of DVAC and may be used for display, advertising and fundraising. Attribution of tattoo image and information will accompany submissions. By submitting an entry, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here.
