DESCRIPTION

Algebra I Boot Camp is a two-week, NON-CREDIT class. It is designed to help students (especially those entering high school in August 2016) understand Common Core standards and basic concepts of high school algebra. Topics covered:  math facts, integers, and Order of Operations, one-step and two-step equations, graphing, plotting points and slope/intercept, and introduction to rules of exponents. Will prepare student for Common core benchmark Algebra I assessment. 

THERE IS NO GRADE IN THIS COURSE. It is designed to increase students' comfort level with algebraic equations. It is especially appropriate for students who need a refresher on basic concepts prior to taking Algebra I in high school.
