This awesome foursome, consisting of Analisa Bell, Andrew Morrisey, Clara Regula and Matt Surges, are mentees of Tony Award-winning Broadway star, Faith Prince! Sharing a mutual love and respect for the woman who taught them to have faith in themselves, they’ve come together to put on a show! Because… why the hell not?
Analisa Bell (top left) was born and raised in Australia. She graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2000, and has since performed in a number of musicals and theatre productions in Oz, including Oklahoma, Les Miserables and The Vagina Monologues (2007 ITA Best Actress Award). As a critically acclaimed cabaret performer, she toured the cabaret and festival circuits in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth before moving to NYC last year. She is an Alumni of the International Cabaret Conference at Yale, won last year’s Annual Broadway Spring Festival Shana Farr Cabaret Competition and has since performed solo cabarets at the Metropolitan Room and The Duplex.
Andrew Morrisey (top right) is an actor/singer originally from the east coast of Canada. A graduate of the music theatre-performance program at Sheridan College, he also attended the Circle in the Square Theatre School and the International Cabaret Conference at Yale University. It was at the cabaret conference when he met his mentor, Faith Prince. Select roles include- Seymour inLittle Shop of Horrors, Ryan Evans in High School Musical, Ugly in Honk! and the Minstrel inOnce Upon a Mattress. Andrew has also performed solo cabarets throughout Canada, and one last Fall in NYC.
Clara Regula (bottom left) was born and raised in Sacramento, California. She grew up dancing and singing but discovered her love for the theatre in high school. She graduated cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and moved to NY in 2014 to pursue her love of theatre. Favorite past credits include Hope Cladwell/Urinetown, Elle Woods/Legally Blonde, Georgia Hendricks/Curtains, Sandy Dumbrowsi/Grease. She is so grateful for the training at Circle in the Square Theatre School and is excited to see what the future brings.
Matt Surges (bottom right) is a recent graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre. Before moving to New York, he performed in several regional productions in Sacramento, CA. He also has a BA in music from CSU Sacramento where he studied classical voice.
