A musical exhibition telling tales of love forsaken and redeemed without the regret in which we tend to indulge, starring a girl and her guitar.
Twenty-year-old Kalyani Singh’s warbling voice, diverse melodies, and poetic lyrics transport her audiences across time, space, and a panorama of emotional colors. She taught herself acoustic guitar and later ukulele beginning at age 13. Since then, Kalyani has developed a unique musical style that includes influences from indie to Disney. Her music has entranced listeners of her EP entitled “You and I” and her performances have endeared audiences from her high school and college to Greenwich Village’s The Bitter End and Path Café. Kalyani gains inspiration from many artists, including Florence and the Machine, Laura Marling, and Joni Mitchell, as well as from her spiritual life.
