Description
A lot of the time when scenes go poorly and lines get crossed, it happens inadvertently. Someone may or may not be blameworthy, but no one set out to violate a boundary---no one was being predatory. Some social conditions make these breakdowns more likely. In this class we'll present several vignettes in which characters are either careening toward likely screw-ups or a screw-up just happened. After each, we'll invite you to ask us any questions you want---we'll respond in character. The goal is to understand how things are likely to go wrong and why. You know that moment in the horror movie when you're shouting "Arrgh! Why are you sending one person alone into the woods to investigate? Why do you think this is a good idea?" This time, you can ask and we'll tell you.
