Description

Symphony of the Vines is pleased to be the closing event of the 2016 Paderewski Festival. 

 

We are honored to host five local and international students who have prepared arrangements
of folk songs for piano and orchestra.  Daniel Ha and Kannan Freyaldenhoven from the Central Coast, Sasha Dzvinkovskiy and Yulia Medynska from Ukraine, and Magdalena Kuropatwa from Poland. 

The orchestra will perform works by Polish composer Witold Lutoslawski, as well as
Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, “Emperor.” featuring French Soloist Brigitte Armenier.
