Description
Behold, the Magnificent Magnificat!  The Magnificat text (Luke 1: 46055) has provided inspiration for many composers and over many centuries.  This concert follows the evolution of musical settings for the Magnificat text from early chant to Baroque composers J.S. Bach and Heinrich Schütz and 20th century composer Arvo Pärt and Jean Berger.
