THE MENNONITE AND THE BARTENDER is a warm, autobiographical comedy about a bartender’s search for the girl of his dreams during the turbulent hippie years of the ’60s. This funny and touching play is written and performed by Katy and Harley Marshall, theater veterans who operated an Equity company in Kansas City, and have made Maine their home for the past six years.  Harley has been featured with The Originals’ in MARVIN’S ROOM, and THE UNDERPANTS, and we are pleased to welcome Katy and him for this very special production.

The Marshalls are members of the Daytime Players, a unique troupe of senior actors, writers and directors whose readings and productions will be featured during SRT’s 2017 season as an extension of our Senior Playwriting initiative.
