Description
This seminar course covers 5 of the top pathologies (listed below) commonly seen in the orthopedic setting. It is designed for those students who are preparing for their first clinical rotation or for students who have already taken orthopedics and would like to learn more advanced techniques.
The course features online interactive content that will engage you in learning the key components of each of the pathologies listed. The content will be available up to 2 weeks prior to the lab content to ensure that students have sufficient time to digest the material. Content quizzes at the end of each subject with verify competency prior to lab time. Students must complete content and successfully pass the online quizzes prior to the lab.
The lab course is designed to facilitate hands on learning. The lab features a low student to instructor ratio (5:1 maximum) and will focus on exercise prescription and manual intervention for the 5 orthopedic topics covered in the online seminar.
