Description
The
Diamond Valley Arts Council is proud to present our newest exhibit. Art X 3.
Three very talented artists present an exhibit of mixed media. Roger of Laguna
Beach, Porcelain Painters of Sierra Dawn and Mrs. Lois Stipp show incredible
original art in this exciting and eye catching show. A reception will be held
on Saturday, January 28th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm accompanied by a
meet and greet with the artists.
Roger of Laguna Beach presents "pin-ups" in colored pencil. If you enjoy traditional WWII pin-up art, this exhibit by Roger is a fresh reinterpretation of this genera'. Each piece is an original and expertly rendered. He is a master of his technique. Created in colored pencil, these images are offered in framed and unframed format. The Porcelain Painters of Sierra Dawn are devoted to creating works of fine art on porcelain objects and tiles. This group which formed over twenty years ago has created a variety of high quality images for this show. Well worth the visit to see these expertly created pieces of fine porcelain art. The group meets two days each week to work on projects, guided by highly qualified instructors. New members are always encouraged to join, not only Sierra Dawn residents, but, from the greater community at large. The third contributor to the Art x 3 show is Lois Stipp. Lois is a local artist, instructor and gallery owner. Additionally, she is the President of the Diamond Valley Arts Council, showing her works in a show for the first time in our gallery. Her varied original work showcase a wide range of styles and her versatility. Come enjoy the exhibit or visit The Diamond Valley Arts Center located at 123 N. Harvard St. in the Historic Downtown Harvard District of Hemet for any one of the live entertainment evenings. Visit www.thedvac.org for more information. Items Not Allowed
