Rivergrass Revival -providing honest high energy American roots rock, folk and bluegrass music from the base of the Catskills!
Coming together in the heat of the summer, the Revival started as a way for a group of players to showcase tunes which were screaming to be heard. Each member being well versed on thousands of pages in the American songbook, decades of performing, touring, a few backyard fireside jams made it evident that the fire burned bright in this group of friends. Bringing the enormous energy of the river and the rich soul of the mountains to the stage ignite the party and carrying it along our journey.
It generally starts with a foot tap, increased heart beat, an itch begins to creep from the feet to the hips, and in no time the dance floor has been electrified. Odds are you won't even know what hit you. The sun is out again and another Rivergrass Revival show has taken night to the next limit.
The hustle of the city and the shackles of technology can only bring you so far. At some point there has to be more to this ever numbing world, something deeper, something honest, and it starts with a foot tap.
