Description
Can you believe it's the 7th Annual Portland Pride comedy show? Us either! This year we are bringing back the legendary Vickie Shaw! Vickie is a legendary lesbian comedy powerhouse and has been on "Laughing Matters More", Comedy Central, with four stand-up specials on the LOGO Channel and she's been on Late In Life Lesbians, and Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen. She's a favorite and not to be missed! Special Guest! Pink Collar Comedy Tour's Kaytlin Bailey is in from NYC! Kaytlin Bailey has been featured on MTV's Braless. You may have heard her on SiriusXM & popular podcasts. Bailey founded the Pink Collar Comedy Tour, which performed to a sold out crowd in Portland in 2016. You should look up her Roast Battles if you're into verbal boxing matches. Her critically acclaimed one woman show had a sold out run in NYFringe & United Solo. You may have seen her on the obscure television show CentralXPress a decade ago, but probably not. She performs regularly all over New York, but she's especially proud to be associated with, and thankful to, the Creek & the Cave. Produced by and featuring: Belinda Carroll has written for Huffpost,Cracked.Com, Portland Mercury, and Exotic Magazine and has appeared on Portlandia, Grimm, MTV. She appears on XRAY.FM 107.1 and is the co-founder and co-producer of Portland Queer Comedy Festival, the first multi-day queer performer focused comedy festival in the U.S., happening July 13th ot the 16th. 2017. Hosted by D Martin Austin is a queer single parent raised throughout America's predominantly white suburbs by a copywriter and a black nationalist. Building from their complicated background and experiences, Daniel wrestles existential anxieties to bring a uniquely accessible voice to readers of their blog and column in The Portland Mercury ("The Party Review"), the stage, and their podcast YOUR FAULT FOR LISTENING (on iTunes), with a healthy dose of social criticism, self-deprecation, and a dash of gold lame. *Voted Best Showcase (Your Fault for Listening) and Funniest Male Performer at The NW Black Comedy Festival (2017) |
