Carrie Gravenson, a native New Yorker, won the 2009 New York Underground Comedy Festival’s Emerging Talent Stand-Up Competition and was a runner up in 2009′s Catch a Rising Star Stand-Up Competition. She was a semi-finalist in the Ventura Comedy competition and the She Devil Comedy Contest in 2012. She produced "Disruptive Influence" and co-produced “The Tomfoolery Hour,” popular monthly comedy showcases in New York City. She traveled the country with the Pink Collar Comedy Tour which has performed in over 70 cities, coast to coast and Canada, and was featured in various publications and on CW San Diego 6. She's headlined at Carolines on Broadway, NYC's premier comedy nightclub, as well as other venues around the country. She performed her one-woman show "The Bottom Layer: A Journey from Depression to Slightly Less Depression" at SOLOCOM in 2016. In 2017, Pink Collar Comedy Tour changed its name to CAKE Comedy (Carrie represents the "C" in CAKE) and did a 10-city tour in the Spring. Carrie has been featured in The NY Daily News, CBS Local and The Queens Chronicle and continues to perform all over the country.
