You might know Tessa Skara as a Comedy Central "Comic To Watch," along with her sketch group Pop Roulette. You might know her from her performances at UCB, Ars Nova, Joe's Pub, and Every Shitty Gay Bar In Brooklyn. You might know her from her show Thank Goddess in which no straight white men are allowed to perform. Or you might know her as a 420 enthusiast in an all-consuming love/hate relationship with Whole Foods. But, you probably didn’t know that Tessa is also: A Rock Goddess. The self-proclaimed Courtney Love of Comedy is back for the first and last night of her world tour, with original songs and stand up she wrote while hiding in her room, smoking weed, and cleaning the bathtub to have a bath and then never having a bath because she's too stoned and can't stop thinking about the CHEMICALS! You know — what rock goddesses do. Tessa, and some of Brooklyn’s real rockstars, present to you a rock cabaret featuring songs about losing your diva cup at the Apple Store, homoerotic church decorations and how selfish it is for your therapist to go on maternity leave.
