This series is designed to give affordable and quick continuing education to clinicians in our community. All benefits will go to support the HUG clinic ability to “Go mobile” throughout the valley offering our unique services to those in need. October 24th : Chronic Pain Presenter Krystal Buck PTA Know pain, know gain. As clinicians, it is our duty to educate our patients and restore optimal function. And for chronic pain, it is important to decrease the threat or perceived threat that is driving someone’s discomfort. By leaving the bio-medical model and accessing the bio-psycho-social model of treatment, you can reduce suffering for many individuals. We know that persistent pain is handled poorly and has been a problem for decades. It is important to restore a more sustainable solution. This lecture will scratch the surface on reframing your patient’s pain experience.
