Marjie invites you to forget your troubles and join her for a night inspired by the legendary Judy Garland. In her solo show debut, Marjie will channel some Judy classics and attempt to answer the big question: "What Would Judy Do" (or sing) if she were trying to chase our cares away in 2018?
Directed and co-conceived by Michael Pesce and accompanied by Max Gordon (The Band's Visit).
Featuring guests Lauren Patten (Fun Home) and Daniel Emond (Lion and Spaniel, The Blue Eyed Bettys).
New to the cabaret scene, Marjie has been involved in New York theatre for the past few years, performing as an actor and dancer in a handful of shows, including Kerrigan-Lowdermilk's The Bad Years. Most recently, she was Assistant Movement Director to Brandon Powers (Bandstand, Riot Antigone) for Arden/Everywhere: The As You Like It Project (dir. Jessica Bauman) and the NYMF production of The Goree All-Girl String Band (dir. Ashley Brooke Monroe). Marjie regularly collaborates with Jennifer Jancuska (FMK, Dust Can't Kill Me, Hamilton) and The BringAbout, an ensemble of theatre artists that works to active new musicals through a synthesis of movement and language from the beginning stages of the creative process.
