Play Nice People Description
a goofy musical about birds and their eggs and some human beings competing to find the most unusual egg. The prize is a bag of gold. The melodies are from golden oldies you've probably known all your life, but with new words.
Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road? does finally explain which came first: the chicken or the egg, but the chicken at a crossroads is just one of the fine-feathered friends in the story. There's a goose that lays a golden egg, a robin who takes care of other birds' eggs, a sarcastic parrot, and a small chickadee who thinks the sky is falling, but ---spoiler alert---it isn't. Along the way, we meet a series of quirky characters who learn something about life, liberty, and the pursuit of eggs, and especially the true meaning of "home." The message isn't heavy-handed, but, through comedy and songs, the points are made with an "over-easy" touch. The PLAY NICE PEOPLE are: OUR CAST (ages 6-83): Alex Bello, Kea Chan, Victor Griffith, Mary Israel, Tori Israel, Sofia Lopez, Maryann Lopinto, Barbara Malley, Claire Melchert, Denzel Ostane, Ruby Quarles, Mira Singer, Stefania Verbitsky, Alexi Zadanosky, rotating guest actors as the talking egg, and some very nice puppets.
