Description

In "The Conquest of the South Pole," unemployed Rumford Maine mill workers recreate Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen's  grueling, ground-breaking trek to the South Pole as a journey of the imagination in order to empower themselves amidst the gut-wrenching hardships of their situation, with startling and life-changing results.

A New England Premiere Production.

Running time:  90 minutes.
