Australian born and bred cabaret singer-comedienne, Analisa Bell, has lived in New York for three years now, and considers this thriving metropolis home! But, from time to time, there is a part of her that yearns for the land "down-under"; so, when she gets hit with a bout of homesickness, what does she do? She picks up her hairbrush, stands in front of the mirror, and delves into the music of her island home. Join Analisa as she swaps her bedroom for the stage and sings some Aussie favorites from the likes of Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton-John, Peter Allen and INXS!
Analisa Bell graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2000, and has since performed in a number of musicals and theatre productions in Oz, including Oklahoma, Les Miserables and The Vagina Monologues (2007 ITA Best Actress Award). As a critically acclaimed cabaret performer, she toured the cabaret and festival circuits in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth before moving to NYC at the end of 2014. She is an Alumni of the International Cabaret Conference at Yale, won the 2015 Annual Broadway Spring Festival Cabaret Competition, was a Semi-Finalist in the 2016 MetroStar Challenge at the Metropolitan Room, and has performed at the Metropolitan Room, The Duplex and 54 Below. She is currently mentored by Tony Award-winner, Faith Prince.
