Description
Join us for our FIRST production in the new Black Box theatre! The Stribling Theatre will present Godspell, the same story of Jesus' life but retold through the eyes of youth. Set in "modern times" it's a beautiful portrayal of young men and women who forsake their jobs and take up the mantle of Jesus Christ -- becoming his disciples -- in a musical retelling of the Gospel of Matthew.
Using songs everyone will recognize and fun dance, the apostles travel the land, spreading Christ's message of love and tolerance as the time moves ever closer to Jesus' betrayal at the hands of Judas and, ultimately, His crucifixion. Items Not Allowed
