Join
fun and cool Brooklyn comedians George Civeris and Julia Claire for two
half-hours of riotous standup comedy hosted by the hilarious Rebecca
O'Neal!
Julia Claire is a comedian, writer, and large-boy-sized
lady based in New York City, by way of her hometown of Boston. Pedaling
her sharp, almost always self-deprecating jokes, she quickly became a
staple in the Boston comedy scene, performing at bar shows, clubs and
colleges all over the East Coast and beyond. She has performed in the
Boston Comedy Festival, the Limestone Comedy Festival, the Brooklyn
Comedy Festival, the New York Comedy Festival, and the Bridgetown Comedy
Festival, and has opened for Ron Funches, Aparna Nancherla, Beth
Stelling, Mark Normand, Charlie Pickering, Carmen Lynch, and SNL's Aidy
Bryant. Since moving to New York she has performed in venues all over
the city including UCB and Caroline's on Broadway. Her work has been
featured on Funny or Die, People, BET, and the New York Times. She has
been featured on NPR's You're the Expert and Nerdist's Competitive
Erotic Fan Fiction.
George Civeris is—thrillingly—a comedian and
writer based in Brooklyn. George was recently chosen as a New Face of
Comedy at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Before that,
he won MoveOn.org's nationwide "Laughter Trumps Hate" contest, thus
eradicating hate for good. He has performed at the Bridgetown Comedy
Festival, the Boston Comedy Festival, the Limestone Comedy Festival, the
Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, and the Women in Comedy Festival, and
has opened for Colin Quinn and Jen Kirkman. He co-hosts Living For It, a
monthly comedy benefit show at the Living Gallery in Bushwick.
