Jacob Bernz has been described as a poet, musician and balladeer.  Born and raised in New York's Hudson Valley, Jacob was surrounded by musical friends and family including his father, two-time Grammy winning producer/musician David Bernz, and family friend Pete Seeger.  Songwriting runs through Jacob's veins, and his music is distinct, crossing many genres including folk, jazz, blues and pop.  He has a beautiful tenor voice, and will be making his NYC solo debut at The Duplex.
