Description

The theme of our 2018-2019 season, 'A Season for Singing', explores the timeless characteristics of musical compositions that reflect the moods and joys of the seasons of the year as well as the seasons of life.   As the wise philosopher Confucius expressed:
"Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without" 

This concert, Heart and Inspiration, celebrates Valentine’s Day in many layers, including songs of the heart, songs of inspiration, and from many countries including China, Italy, and Germany.  Represented composers are Robert Schumann, Orlando di Lasso, and J.S. Bach.
