Bonner Black Bonner Black has always known she wanted to be an entertainer. Whether fulfilling her purpose as an entertainer meant being a classical ballerina for 11 years, performing at the Coffee Tree or singing a Shania Twain song through her hairbrush atop her bed to a sea of stuffed animals, she's always been comfortable with standing up in front of a crowd. The Huntsville native recently moved to Nashville to further her singing and songwriting career. She assures she's not trying to be the next Taylor Swift. Rather than trying to be someone she's not, she's trying to show the world who she is; the edgy country-pop singer who performs in high heels, the songwriter who will pull over during a bike ride near her family home in Hot Rock, Tenn. to pen a song, and the girl who memorizes Edgar Allen Poe poetry with her closest friends.
