Shane Shane is a writer, performer and video maker from Brooklyn, NY. He and his work have appeared in The New York Times, at Joe’s Pub, at the LaMama Theater and at too many queer parties and gay bars to list here. He has toured the US and Europe with his dance music/performance art project Shane Shane and appeared in the fashion line Opening Ceremony’s dance play “Changers” directed by Spike Jonze. He is currently a member of the UCB Theater’s Characters Welcome house team. He has a boyfriend named Dusty, a cat named Wanda and a family—both by blood and by choice—in the great Midwest, all of whom he loves a great deal.
