Description
Join the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation for its annual fall fundraiser FEEF Presents School of Rock on Friday, October 19, 2018, 6:30 p.m. at the Fairhope Civic Center. The night will pay tribute to great rock and roll and will have amazing food, drinks and live music by the Foxy Iguanas beginning at 8:00 p.m.

All proceeds from this exciting evening benefit FEEF and the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) enrichment programs in all five Fairhope public schools that are not made possible through traditional funding the schools receive.

Over the last 22 years, FEEF has created the award winning $230,000 Pelican's Nest Science Lab, contributed $250,000 to begin the Black Box Theatre at Fairhope High School, funded the piano, guitar and choral programs at both the middle and high schools and provided integral equipment for students such as school wide calculators for testing, band instruments, iPads, smart boards and much more. 

Last year your support and generosity allowed FEEF to provide over $186,000 to Fairhope public schools. You made the following programs possible in our schools that would otherwise not exist: 

  • Hands-on science labs at Fairhope Intermediate and J. Larry Newton
  • Interactive Smart Board for STEAM lessons in the classroom and at Pelican's Nest Science Lab, Lego Learn to Learn kits, and professional development at Fairhope Elementary
  • Choral and Guitar programs, including teacher salaries, for Fairhope Middle
  • Piano and Choral program for Fairhope High
  • Provided funding for all Grade 2 and 3 Shared Reading Collections and National Geographic Magazines for Fairhope Elementary
  • Recycling program support, tuba purchases for band and funding for Career College for Tweens and PocketLab Voyager programs at Fairhope Middle
  • Flexible seating and support for special needs playground at Fairhope Intermediate
  • Funding for Quadcopter Drone and the Black Box Theatre at Fairhope High
  • Library Renovation and Butterfly Garden at J. Larry Newton
  • Funded all new Piano Lab for Fairhope Middle starting Fall 2018
