This class meets Tuesday and Thursday October 9 - December 18, 2018 (with a winter break) January 4 - 17, 2019
Time: 2:00PM - 4:00PM Class will be held in CH2124 Description: This course will allow the student to refresh their skills to perform a surgical scrub, don gowns, surgical gloving, set up a back table and mayo stand, basic back table set ups, packs and drapes, basic orthopedics, basic laparoscopy using aseptic technique. Candidates for this course could be any medical professional with prier scrub experience: Surgical Technologists, Scrub Nurses, Operating Room Assistants, First Assistants, Nurse Practitioners.. This course would not be available to non-hospital employees. All Surgical Technologist must bring a copy of their certification or letter of completion.
