& Hammerstein's first collaboration
remains one of their most innovative and celebrates its 75th
Anniversary this year. Set in Western
territory just
after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the local
farmers and cowboys provides the colorful background for love's journeys down a bumpy country road. Curley
and Laurey, along with their friends and family create a rollicking life in the
