Jordan Silver is a NYC based playwright / lyricist. He graduated from Ithaca College in 2016 in BFA musical theatre. He’s had two developmental readings in NYC of his play, “Nobody Gives a Shit About You (and the power that comes with knowing it)” produced by Dan Stone (Dear Evan Hansen, H2$, Catch Me if You Can, etc…) and directed by Sean Grandillo (Spring Awakening B’way). In addition to playwriting which he studied at Primary Stages, Jordan is also a lyricist / book writer. “YOUR FAVORITE ACTOR FRIENDS,” (a new musical with book and lyrics by Jordan Silver) premiered at The Green Room 42 under their New Writer’s Series in March. Jordan also did the book / lyrics to “Welcome to Ridgington,” which was produced at Signature Theatre Soundbites Festival. Soon after, he headlined 54 Below with composer Luke Steinhauer, debuting their new music. This past year, Jordan was invited to attend the ASCAP musical theatre workshop in LA.
