Description
Experience the drama and passion of the Viennese masters and be dazzled by the pyrotechnics of the young Chinese pianist performing Beethoven's spectacular Piano Concerto No. 1 in C.  Composer of over 100 symphonies, Franz Joseph Haydn filled each page with creativity, humor, and charm.  His finest achievements in this genre are the dozen London symphonies, and we perform the Symphony No. 95 in c minor, a work of power and beauty.  We open the program with the charming Overture to The Marriage Contract by Gioacchino Rossini that features some fine solo writing for the winds.
