This intriguing game, that has been around for ages, teaches much more than gambits and pawn captures. Chess teaches you how to think through situations. It also teaches you patience and how to turn your weaknesses into strengths. If you like puzzles, strategizing, problem-solving, critical thinking, improvising, or competition; then sign up for this class. This class is designed to teach you the basic theories of chess, and also provide you with the opportunity to practice them against others. Workshop meets Saturdays 1/26, 2/2, 2/9 and 2/23 from 10AM-12PM. Age: 12+ Additional Information
