Description
The
Recovery Coach Training of Trainers (TOT) is an intensive two-day
training course designed to develop training delivery skills for
participants so that they may become eligible to provide addiction
recovery coach training for ICAADA. Once participants complete the TOT,
they may be able to work with ICAADA in providing recovery coach
training.
Please Note: To attend this workshop you must have completed: Peer Recovery Coach Training and Recovery Coach Ethics. The
TOT will focus on adult learning styles, trainer types, facilitating
the learning process, structuring learning experiences and delivery of
training. Training methods utilized will be lecturette-discussion,
instrumented feedback and small group discussion and skill practice.
Each participant will be afforded the opportunity to deliver a segment
of recovery coach training. Twelve (12) Continuing Education Units
(CEUs) will be awarded to TOT participants. Additional Information
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Registration: 8:30 a.m. doors open at 8:00 a.m.
Morning session: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon session: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Daily light breakfast, snacks during the day, water and coffee.
