Description
Learn about our friends in the field, scarecrows! Listen to a story about scarecrows and learn how they protect our plants. Then, children will plant a seed in a take home garden pot and select their own yarn doll scarecrow and a colorful costume for it to protect their plant. After making their own scarecrow, participants will help costume the full size scarecrows at the Clark Cabin garden to protect the plants from birds.
The fun begins at 10:30 am at the Museum Atrium. Tickets for Toddler Time are $5 and include program entry for one adult and one child. One adult caregiver must remain with a child throughout the program’s entirety. For each additional child, the program fee is half of the ticket price. The ticket fee does not include Museum admission. Tickets are now available for purchase online at www.purplepass.com/toddlertime and at the Museum’s Country Store. Tickets may be purchased in person or over the phone at the Country Store at (229) 391-5205. For more information, contact Sara Hand at sfhand@abac.edu or (229) 391-5208. |
