Description
The Music Theatre Ensemble presents the Tony-award winning musical, “The Secret Garden.” Orphaned in India, Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered, reclusive uncle Achibald and his invalid son Colin. Mary discovers a hidden, overgrown garden that once belonged to her uncle’s deceased wife Lily. With the help of new friends and spirits from the past, Mary learns that with tender care and love, hope can bloom again. Based on the beloved novel by Frances Hidgson Burnett with lyrics by Marsha Norman and music by LucySimon, “The Secret Garden” is offereed by special arrangement with Samuel French, Ltd.
