Montford Park Players Description
The jealous King Leontes falsely accuses his wife Hermione of infidelity
with his best friend, and she dies. Leontes exiles his newborn daughter
Perdita, who is raised by shepherds for sixteen years and falls in love
with the son of Leontes' friend. When Perdita returns home, a statue of
Hermione "comes to life", and everyone is reconciled. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening at 7:30 pm
August 3- September 14, 2019 Montford Park Players has been presenting Shakespeare and other
classical works to the Asheville community since 1973, and has since
grown to be one of Western North Carolina’s most beloved and
well-known cultural attractions. Additional Information
