With vibrant tones filled with punch and emotion, the GRAMMY-nominated, all-female string band Della Mae will enliven Historic Uptown Yucaipa with the toe-tapping blend of soulful roots-based folk music and contemporary influences of the present day. Together, lead vocalist and guitarist Celia Woodsmith, along with two-time national champion fiddle player Kimber Ludiker, mandolinist Jenni Lyn Gardner, and upright bassist Zoe Guigueno, continue to gather audiences of all ages and musical interests. Since their founding in 2009, Della Mae has played their original music in 30 countries and almost all of the United States. Extensive time touring helped the band realize their greater mission: to showcase top female musicians and to improve opportunities for women and girls through advocacy, mentorship, programming, and performance.
