On
a hot stormy summer night, Adi and Rony decided to shoot a music video
from the killer musical Chicago only to be immediately faced with a
dilemma; Who would play which role? Neither of them would ever be cast
in the roles of Roxie or Velma. A plus sized lead in a Broadway musical
that’s not Hairspray?! Unheard of! Full of gluten-free pizza and ideas, they decided to do their video anyway, only to have it blossom into a much more unique and intimate project. Miss Cast Me is a fresh, comedic take on the struggles of plus size actresses being cast in the lead roles of musicals. The lighthearted cabaret includes Broadway review, pop music, and sharp Disney twists. $20 Ticket in Advance & a 2 Drink Minimum in the Cabaret Theatre* $25 Ticket at the Door (plus service fee) & a 2 Drink Minimum in the Cabaret Theatre* *Drinks Must be purchased In the Cabaret Theatre to count towards the Minimum.
