Dave Stewart Description
Legacy Brand Ambassador Dave Stewart will guide whisky explorers searching for a glimpse into the spirit of the Benriach Distillery. Historical whisky research indicates Benriach was the first distillery within Speyside to reintroduce peated malt into its whisky making back in the 1970’s, a time when most Speyside distillers had moved their focus toward unpeated malt distillation. Continuing its celebration of the important contributions that Scottish immigrants made to early Arizona, the Scotch Library at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa provides scotch fans with the opportunity to participate in the Masters Scotch Tasting Series. Whether a novice whisky drinker or long-standing scotch enthusiast, the tasting series provides a fun and informative evening sampling of scotch whiskies in hour-long presentations led by Masters of Scotch who are experts in the area of single malt and blend whiskies from all over the country and Scotland. No outside food and beverage will be admitted to the event.

Doors open at 6:00 pm and the tasting begins promptly at 6:30 pm, please arrive accordingly.
Ticket price is inclusive of the scotch tasting, accompanying tasting plate and gratuity.
