Sasha Weiss is so thrilled to be back at the Duplex, and with the one and only Dan Micciche no less! The cabaret veteran is back after a 2 year hiatus with a show full of songs and stories celebrating what it is to be a woman. And with only a month left before her wedding, ALL the single ladies put your hands up for the last time with Sasha!
Sasha received her MFA in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University and her BFA in Musical Theatre with emphasis in Acting and Vocal Repertoire from The Boston Conservatory. Some of her NY credits as a performer include: Jerry Springer the Opera (Carnegie Hall); Colette Collage (The York Theatre) I and Albert (York), The Grand Tour (York); Carrie: the Musical (industry reading, dir. Stafford Arima). TV: ABC's What Would You Do? (“Ugly Americans in Paris”, “Overly Friendly Customers”). Commercials: Jenny Craig nat'l (w/Mariah Carey). Sasha wrote her thesis on “The Art and the Venue of Cabaret” and has written and performed her own cabarets in NYC, San Diego, and LA. Sasha has been a faculty member in the Musical Theatre programs at Pace University, Marymount Manhattan College,
San Diego State University, and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (LA campus). Proud member of AEA.
