Join the SSO for a wonderful, relaxing evening outside at Mount Felix Winery! Bring your comfy chairs, blankets and enjoy a musical evening with friends and family, all while enjoying Mount Felix wines. We will be featuring a small group of strings socially distanced and wearing masks to ensure everyone's safety. 

In the event of rain, the concert will be held on Sunday, September 13th at 4pm.

The SSO will kick off the concert with an America the Beautiful arrangement from Samuel Ward and Katherine Bates/arr. Turner. It will continue with 10’ Arcangelo Corelli – Concerto Grosso Op, 6, No. 4, followed by Mozart's Six Ländler K. 606 and Jean Sibelius' Andante Festivo. Next, Harford Youth Orchestra conductor Brian Folus will conduct Peter Tchaikovsky's Hamlet Entr-acte No.8. Continuing, Jay Ungar/arr. and Calvin Custer's Ashokan Farewell will follow. Brian Folus will also be conducting Anderson's very fun piece Plink, Plank, Plunk. The evening will wind down with Theldon Myers' arrangement of Scarborough Fair. The SSO will also play a very familiar tune, Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran and Amy Wadge, arranged by Larry Moore. To end the night we welcome soloists Emmanuel and Frances Borowksy from Baltimore as they play along to 10’ Antonio Vivaldi - Concerto for Violin and Cello.

Water and soda will be available, as well as wine for $8 a glass.

Dan Worrell of Shell & Barrel LLC will have meat and cheese plates and oysters available. You may purchase and reserve these items ahead of time by clicking the "Buy Tickets" option. 

We ask that you print your ticket or keep the confirmation email on your phone to allow for a limited contact and smooth entrance. Tickets will be available for sale at the door beginning at 5:30pm. Cash and credit will be accepted. 

If you opted to receive a complementary ticket due to the March and May concert cancellations, please email manager@ssorchestra.org to receive a unique code before purchasing tickets. You may also hold off and use this for any of our future concerts this season!
