Legacy: A Celebration in Song!
Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey After 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, tickets for the Derry Presbyterian concert will be available at the door. Legacy is often defined as a gift, and this year’s spring concert is our gift to you, our treasured audience members. Join us for a celebration filled with songs that have delighted listeners for four decades. As always, you can expect a fine balance between sacred and secular music, songs that reflect heartfelt faith as well as the experiences and emotions common to us all. You will hear signature Chorale favorites like Schubert’s Holy, Holy, Holy and Bruckner’s Locus Iste, Philip Stopford’s poignant Do Not Be Afraid, two classic early American folk hymns, Down to the River to Pray and No Time, and Java Jive, made famous by Manhattan Transfer. |
