With millions of online streams to their name, you might assume Salt Lake City indie-rock band Blue Rain Boots has been gigging for decades. Although they shroud their jarring lyricism with sophisticated - yet friendly - riffs, you couldn't be more wrong in that assumption; in fact, frontman and lead singer Simon Griffen is just eighteen-years-old. Completely independent, the band is an anomaly, having casually played alongside their genre's juggernauts (Still Woozy, Ritt Momney, The Backseat Lovers). Garnering fans around the world, Simon, Simon, Carter, and Brecken have sold out hometown shows at an unprecedented rate, and, for the first time since the start of the pandemic, they'll be performing out-of-state at The Space in Las Vegas.
