For the first time post-pandemic, Arcadia High School’s Dance Department is hosting its annual Charity Dance Show live and in-person! To provide comfort and safety for all those attending, we will be having two performances on Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th at 7:00pm in the Arcadia Performing Arts Center! This show features Beginning and Intermediate Dance students, as well as members of the Orchesis Dance Company. It is sure to be a night to remember with exhilarating performances of all dance styles. 

The world has been greatly impacted and forever changed by COVID-19. For dance at Arcadia High School, we have been unable to share our passion for our art form to an in-person audience in almost two years. Our program is 100% self-funded and relies on the profits from our productions to provide costuming, guest choreographers, master class teachers, scholarships, and invaluable opportunities and experiences for our students. To ensure the integrity of our productions and program, we will be utilizing the proceeds made from Charity Dance Show to go back into the dance community at Arcadia High School. Our hope is to rebuild and come back stronger than before. 

After a long awaited return to stage, the dancers could not be more thrilled to bring this performance to you. The night will be full of electrifying performances for all to enjoy. It has always been the Charity Show’s mission to give back to the community and inspire change through art and dance!

Safety Precautions:

In consideration for the health and safety of all those attending, the PAC theater will be sold at half capacity. This will allow for audience members to socially distance as every other row in the theater will be closed off for seating. Additionally, all seating will be assigned. When purchasing tickets you will need to select a specific seat utilizing the seat-map generator. To ensure your entire party is sitting together, we recommend purchasing all tickets at one time. Please be advised that all sales are final. Refunds, exchanges, or transfer of tickets to another night will not be accepted. We also ask that all those attending wear a mask inside at all times. If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms please stay home.
