The Grumpy Cup LLC is throwing both the 1st annual NEBS sanctioned "East Coast BBQ Competition" as well as the 1st annual "East Coast Cannabis Competition" on July 8-10 in Greenfield Massachusetts at the Franklin County Fair Grounds. Opening at 10am each day and ending before 7:30pm.
Friday Theme: Late 4th of July 'Thank You' celebration! Expect: Upbeat old school music! PLENTY of amazing food to be bought. Veteran's Choice Competition. Veterans judging. (For FREE. #ThankYou) Saturday Theme: 'Cannabis' and ganja music. Expect: People's Choice Competition: WINGS and RIBS. And YOU can judge them!!! Award Ceremony: The winners of the online East Coast Cannabis Competitions will be announced! Sunday Theme: 'BBQ' Expect: BBQ BBQ BBQ!!! (and a lil country western. Only a lil...) Award Ceremony: The winners of the East Coast BBQ Competitions will be announced! NOTE: Military Veterans, Seniors and Disabled use ticket discount code: $10off The Grumpy Cup 3 day VIP tickets include: You get entry into the Grumpy Cup EACH of the three nights for you as well as a +1 friend/date. Free VIP Parking near the VIP tent. Entry into the VIPs only pavilion. Free munchies and refreshments. Shade, fans and protection from the elements no matter what - with a red carpet treatment. 3 day VIPs can also add on: A VIP online Judges UPGRADE ticket (with a swag bag) and/or VIP Camping! This is a cannabis friendly event. NO alcohol allowed! There will be a large designated smoking area with DJed music. (Show your cannapride and leave it like you found it - or better.) No smoking or vaping in or near the barns, buildings or tents. Please consider carpooling and a designated driver! Happening rain or shine. Bring an umbrella chair for shade. Or bring a beach towel to sit on and relax. (Or to dry off with.) And leave a spare or two in the car just in case. And have sun block ready! There will be volleyball nets set up and if nice outside we will be giving raffle tickets and chances at prizes out to teams that win. As well as to people dancing and enjoying themselves. Or just having fun or being weird. So come chill out with us, listen to some tunes, catch some rays and meet new friends. There will be many military veteran owned vendors booths on site at this event. Some just starting their businesses during scary post-Covid times. Bring some money and show them some late 4th of July love and thanks by supporting them! There WILL be bag checks (and metal detectors) at the door done by trusted stoners. Alcohol, outside food and drinks, tents, coolers, radios and weapons are not permitted on the grounds. Sales of cannabis/edibles made with THC is strictly prohibited!!! If your easily offended or don't like loud music - this likely isn't the event for you. The DJed music will push the bubble some at times.
