Toshi Cappuccino Description
Toshi Cappuccino is BACK! His last show at the Duplex was 2 years half years ago if you can believe it. To brighten your holiday season he’ll appear in a special show at the fully remodeled Duplex this December. Toshi will explore the songbook of Japan's premier drag artist, the legendary Akihiro Miwa (best known to American audiences as the star of Mishima’s Black Lizard.) Toshi Cappuccino has appeared at the Duplex many times since his “debut” there in March of 2013. His performances have consistently sold out in NY and as far afield as Akron, Columbus, Seattle, Honolulu, Toronto, Sao Paulo, and too many cities to list in Japan. This show would be performed in Japanese. Marugoto Miwa Sama is written, produced, directed and performed by Toshi Cappuccino. A native of Hakata, he is an entertainer, critic, producer, TV personality, and a voter for the New York Drama Desk Awards.
