Description
The theme of our 2021-2022 season, 30 Years of Music, celebrates the range of music presented in our past 30 years of performances with musical compositions from our past and new contemporary compositions of the present. For our upcoming and final concert of the season, A World of Music, we will celebrate our love of international contemporary choral music primarily from Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, Hungary and Brazil.Renowned international percussionist Anders Astrand from Stockholm, Sweden will be our special musical guest. Members of the Scandinavian Heritage Society of Kentucky will join us to highlight the international flavor of the evening. Please gather with us as we turn our voices to express unity and support peace for our precious world. Our final concert celebrating 30 Years of Music will be performed in the beautiful sanctuary of the Second Presbyterian Church, Lexington, Kentucky. A mask is now optional to wear at the church and concert. Parking is free.
