A modern day Romeo and Juliet involved in New York street gangs. On the harsh streets of the upper West Side, two gangs battle for control of the Turf. It becomes complicated when a gang member fall in love with a rival's sister. An exploration of the capacity of human hatred and love, West Side Story explores the large emotions experience by those on the cusp of adulthood and those who are wearied with living. |
