The Grumpy Cup LLC is throwing the 2ND ANNUAL Grumpy Cup this year on July 8th - 9th at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield Massachusetts. This year it will AGAIN be hosting BOTH the 'East Coast BBQ Competition' as well as the 'East Coast Cannabis Competition' awards ceremony! (Competition held online prior to the event)

WHAT IS THE GRUMPY CUP?

We're not sure yet. Rain or shine - it starts off as a place where old stoner friends meet up again and camp out. Hoping to relax, get a tan and meet new friends. We try and help a few GREAT causes. There's cannabis and BBQ involved. Mix in a HUGE competition or two involving these. Toss in a trade show and some amazing vendors. Add some of the biggest names on the east coast from the Cannabis arena. Some crazy random old school music in the background. And we still have no clue what to call it! Other then a lot of FUN!!!

WHAT'S NEW THIS YEAR AT THE GRUMPY CUP?

1) The East Coast BBQ Competition will NOT be New England BBQ Society sanctioned this year - like we were last year. INSTEAD we will be allowing local BBQ businesses to compete for the titles and trophy's. And YOU get to be the judges when you purchase food each day!

2) Friday is NO longer a General Admittance day. We open at Noon for General Admittance on Saturday and Sunday. And close up by 7pm each of those nights after dinnertime.

3) We will be throwing the Grumpy Cup Games this year for VIPS! Hosted by: The Homie Collective.

4) We will adding a "Ganja Squishing?" contest to the East Coast Cannabis Competition. Hosted by: Da Terpologists! (name being voted on)

5) VIPs will NOT get the addon option of Judging Kits this year on Purple Pass. Talk to Mike from Infuzed Productions for more information about obtaining those. This year we are throwing 2 'Two Day Passes' into EACH Judging Kit!

6) Campers that leave trash, cigarette butts and/or bottle caps on the ground at their site will be denied future camping. PLEASE leave it like you found it!

7) We will be holding the 1st 'East Coast Comedy Show' this year! :)

8) We will have an AMAZING car show on site this year held by Pull'd Up Car Shows!!!

WHAT DO VIPs GET AS PERKS?!?

1) FREE parking INSIDE the fair grounds! Normally $10 and across the street.

2) The ADDON option of camping at the best spots on the grounds. With electric/water/restrooms/showers nearby. VIP campers can set up on Friday afternoon and stay Sunday night as well if they want- and take off Monday morning.

CAMPING NOTE: Enforced 10pm QUIET time! Cooking allowed this year at campsites. NO open fires! Only covered/contained firepits. Large bags of ice for sale. Please pay for them in the nearby Dole building 1st.

3) Friday night we will have a Grumpy Cup (pre-event) Potluck Ball for VIPs, Vendors and Volunteers that evening. Please consider bringing something SAFE to add to the FEAST that evening. (With an easy to read label of ingredients for people with food allergies.) The feast will include a pig donated by The Terpologist and cooked/smoked by Tap Dat BBQ! As well as Briskets cooked by Grumpy himself. And if we don't have enough we will order pizza from the best pizza makers in the Pioneer Valley - Village Pizza.

4) VIPS (as well as Vendors and volunteers) will get to judge some of BOTH competitions on Friday and Saturday night. As well as the infused entry's. And then get some sleep onsite before the event starts officially at Noon the next day.

5) FREE yoga and morning stretching. Hosted by: Kellie Roy. From Kellie's Holistic Healing (Attendance gets Grumpy Cup Games points as well as a FREE drawing ticket for showing support!)

6) A FREE pancake breakfast on BOTH Saturday and Sunday starting at 10am. (Limited amounts of Infused maple syrup. Veterans get in line 1st)

7) ALL BBQ vendors have been asked to provide either FREE samples to VIPs for judging!! And/or a reduced price on their normal prices for the weekend for them as well!!!

8) ONLY VIPs can participate in the 1st Grumpy Cup Games. Hosted by: The Homie Collective! Lots of fun and prizes to be had!!! VIP participation = Grumpy Cup Games points as well as FREE drawing tickets. Winners get FREE VIP Tickets for the 2024 Grumpy Cup and a Camping Pass! The Grumpy Cup Games winners will ALSO set up their campsites FIRST next year at the 2024 Grumpy Cup - as an added perk! #GoodLuck #PlaceNice #FriendlyCompetitions

9) VIPs get front row seats for any performers doing comedy and music. (Attendance gets Grumpy Cup Games points. As well as a FREE drawing ticket for showing support!)

We are new to this and trying to be fair on prices without shooting ourself in the foot. If you do NOT feel as a VIP that you got what you paid for at this year's Grumpy Cup event - we will happily give you tickets for next year at 1/2 price! (Or less - in RARE circumstances.) All we ask is an honest reason. So we can work on fixing problems in the future. And make the event better for all attending.

Items Not Allowed

Alcohol, outside drinks, radios and weapons are NOT permitted on the grounds! Sales of cannabis/edibles made with THC is strictly prohibited!!!
