This course is intended for students who have completed Beginning 2 or proper placement by the professor.

In this course, students will learn the following:

• Grammar Focus:
• Questions and Statements.
• Verbs + Gerunds.
• “More than,” “Less than,” “as much as.”
• Present Perfect: how long, for, since.
• Questions with ever, short answers.
• Clauses and phrases with “because.”
• Adverbs of degree: “too” and “enough.”
• Present Perfect: “recently” and “lately.”
• “Used to.”
• Verbs + Infinitives.
• “Already” and “Yet.”
• Clauses with “when.”
• Clauses with “before” and “after.”
• “Could” and “Should.”
• Gerunds after prepositions.
• Present Perfect Continuous.
• Separable Phrasal Verbs.
• Past Continuous.
• Adverb clauses with “when” and “while.”
• Future Real Conditional.
• Clauses with “after” and “before.”
• Students will also expand their vocabulary, and utilize these grammar formats, with reading, writing, and listening exercises.
