Description
The Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration began in Hayward in 1986. This years program will include music performed by the Mt. Eden High School choir, Hayward High's Jazz Band, and Mt. Eden High School's Chamber Choir. It will also feature a warm welcome from the mayor of Hayward, and a rousing speech from Hayward police chief Tony Chaplin.
